Join Carl Little for World of Wonders, a multi-genre workshop.

In her NYT-bestselling book of essays and award-winning poems, Aimee Nezhukumatathil often explores the natural world, including whale sharks, fireflies, eels, dragonfruit, catalpas, monsoons, humans, and so much more. Beginning with Nezhukumatathil ‘s work as inspiration, participants in this workshop will be given some ways to explore their own astonishments and curiosities related to the world around us and how we move through it. Writers of any and all backgrounds and levels of experience are welcome!

Carl Little is the author of many art books, including Edward Hopper’s New England, The Watercolors of John Singer Sargent, and Irene Hardwicke Olivieri: Closer to Wilderness. His 2011 book Eric Hopkins: Above and Beyond won the first John N. Cole Award from Maine Writers & Publishers Alliance. He was awarded a Rabkin Lifetime Achievement Award in 2021 for his art criticism. His poems have appeared in many magazines and anthologies, and his most recent collection is Blanket of the Night, published by Deerbrook Editions in 2024.
